I’m sorry I haven’t been on here at all these past few months. I’m sorry to say I won’t be on for a while yet.
School’s gotten the better of me, and I’ve been growing my hair out one last time before surprising people and shaving it off again. I’m a silly person who’s easily swayed by their father’s opinion when living with him. And unfortunately I just don’t see Arthur as having longer hair.
I got an e-mail saying I started this blog on February 14th. I think it’s fitting Arthur’s blog birthday is Valentine’s Day. I also realized I haven’t been on since October when I said I’d try to get on more.
This is basically a “I haven’t forgotten this, this blog has actually been on my mind a lot and I miss it and I have plans for it that I wish I could make happen, but I just can’t right now. I’m sorry.” post.
And I’m sorry to people who followed me in the past week, hoping I’d come back sometime soon. It doesn’t look like I will until I move out of my parents attic and back to civilization.
Because I know I hate it when people just disappear without warning, and I don’t want to do that to you guys, I wanted to just put this post out there.
Because you guys are lovely otters, who really helped me though quite a bit this time last year, and it’s not fair to just… disappear again.
So… See you on the flip-side. Maybe once I move again. Maybe once I shave my head again. Maybe when Cabin Pressure comes back for that final episode and I just can’t hold in my excitement.

Ladies and gentlemen, can I have your attention, please. This is the Airport speaking. Listen to the Airport.
Calling all D.C. and surrounding areas Cabin Pressure fans Boarding will begin shortly there will be a D.C meet-up as part of the 'Thank You Cabin Pressure' project!
I’m taking a page out of the Dutchcrew’s book by making a info post for our city. At the moment date/time and other fiddly details are up in the air, so if you want to participate in the project, let me know and we can make it work for as many people as possible!
Location: White House
Date: I’m thinking either SAT DEC 14th, or SAT DEC 21st. (Preferences?)
Time: Afternoon-ish (?????)
Things like Cosplay/CP memorabilia will be a-OK (I plan to bring a stuffed Polar bear, myself). I have a camera that does video, unless someone has a better one. If we get any artistic folks who want to be in charge of making a sign, let me know.
This should be subject to change as more details are figured out, plus I’ll post updates on my blog.
Let’s do this! *fist-pumps* A female bear is called a sow.

Hey guys! Hey guys! Anyone around here from the DC area? I’m going to be planning to go. I may or may not be cosplaying Arthur. If anyone wants to cosplay, hit me up!

A bit of an update about my life, Saturday the 21st would work the best for me as well, but I need a confirmation about that being the date in like the next week or so. I’d need to ask off from work for it to really work well.
If it helps with planning, I’m going to be totally school free come this Wednesday (December 11th). I usually only work Friday-Sunday, which means that I’ll be completely free Monday-Thursday. I don’t’ know if that helps with anyone else?
Let’s do this, guys! :)

Anonymous said: Hello! You've probably already seen this, but I wanted to make sure you were aware of a project going on to thank John Finnemore for Cabin Pressure. The project Tumblr is at thankyoucabinpressure, and involves people all over the world saying or writing "thank you" in their own language or dialect for a compilation. It would be really sweet if Arthur could say thank you maybe?

Hello, dear Gray Face!

And long time, no see, darling blog.

I’ve seen it, but I haven’t really had time to look at it in depth. What you said got me thinking though:

If anyone’s interested, I’d love to try to pull together a group cosplay shot of the whole Cabin Crew and as many of the minor characters as we can (Herc, Snoop-a-Doop, Carl, Diego, as many people as we can) somewhere amazing. I’m gonna shoot the project blog an ask in a bit as well, but I wanted to see if any of my followers are interested before sending it out to the internet.

I’m willing to travel a bit given enough time to plan it (Boston would be brilliant, but I don’t think that’s going to be feasible for me since I’m a couple states away. Well, not feasible unless I knew for a fact people were going to show up).

If anyone’s interested, I’d love to talk about this. You guys can shoot me a message here or e-mail me at misscampground@yahoo.com. If Skype’s a better place to talk, shoot me an ask and I’ll give it to you.

Lots of ottery kisses everyone!

Cat

(ps: I have nothing planned for Thursday morning and get the internet mostly to myself. Expect some Arthur shenanigans.)

I realize I forgot where I’m located. I’m smack dab in the middle of Virginia, the closest “city” being Harrisonburg (not to be confused with Harrisburg, PA).

Okay, guys! That’s it for today! You guys were fantastic. Thank you for all the fun asks!

I’m going to try to get on at least once a week. So I suppose it’s a semi-hiatus for now?

You lovely otters have been fantastic. Thanks so much for hanging around while I wasn’t able to post things. <3 I promise it won’t be as long as it was this summer, specially since I have a couple more really brilliant asks in my box that I wish I had time to answer today!

That’s a really good idea! Much better than what I was trying to do…

Did you know chocolate syrup in water kind of looks like coffee?

I’m gonna go try to do that in the little time I have left.

You know, I think we did!

It was rather strange. A strange man with a lot of tattoos and a really nice voice took away Skip’s clipboard with his checklist of things that needed to get done. When we looked for another pen to rewrite the list, we couldn’t find any.

All the inflight meals that had wheat disappeared as well. The strange man said it was for our own good, but we were all really hungry. Douglas doesn’t want to go back again.

And hopefully here to stay!

image

I missed being here! I’m glad I’m finally able to be back!

image

Let’s see here…

image

Oh, no… A red eye to Hong Kong…

But that means I have more time to figure things out!

image

Oh, gosh, I don’t mind at all! I love Halloween! It’s brilliant! It’s my favorite holiday, right up there with Christmas and Lent and Easter and everyone’s birthdays!

Oh man, I don’t know what I’m going to be this year… I could be a bunny, or a pirate, or a cat…

image

Or even Skip!

Usually we’re working on Halloween, so I don’t get to celebrate much more than just dressing up for customers. Usually Mum only allows a cape and maybe vampire fangs.

Hmm… Aw, man, I forgot about this!

Right now? Which ever one doesn’t come with coffee…

I really did like the Baby Chicken though.

Well…

There is one lady right now… I’m still not sure if anything will come out of it, but I sure hope so!

I’d love to have a family. I used to babysit for some of my friends and some of the guys around the airfield, but since Mum started GERT-I and business picked u pa bit, I haven’t had the chance to as much. Kids are brilliant, aren’t they?!

No, never! It’s just always exciting! That amazing moment when twelve tons of metal leaves the earth – and no-one knows why!

Ah! For that question earlier for the other Arthur!

Maybe… Maybe everyone will just ask for tea instead of coffee this trip.
